Lazy Daisy Stitch #1st attempt
I'm not very experienced in embroidery having done two other pieces in straight stitch so today I thought I'd branch out and attempt the Lazy Daisy Stitch. I followed this tutorial.
I used fabric from old curtains which has a tighter weave than that of a t shirt or lining fabric which I have used previously so this made it a little harder.
I found that I pulled the floss too tight to begin with and didn't really get the loopy stitch I wanted. It wasn't perfect by the end of these simple flowers and butterfly but it was better than when I started. Hopefully as I practise the stitch I will get better. I'm going to branch out even further and learn more stitches soon.
